The African Ambassadors meetings brings together Ambassadors and representatives of African Embassies to discuss matters of common interest among others.
The 3rd March 2026 edition, inter alia, centered around the upcoming African Union Day celebration scheduled for Friday, 29th May 2026, in Moscow under the theme ‘assuring sustainable water availability and safe sanitation systems to achieve the goals of agenda 2063.
Contributing to the discussion, Ambassador Jehu-Appiah proposed expanding the celebration to include business forums, highlighting the importance of economic collaboration and development within the African Union.
Dr. Jehu-Appiah further noted that the initiative aligns with the African Union’s goals of promoting economic growth, integration, and cooperation among member states. The inclusion of business forum, according to the Ghana’s Ambassador, is expected to provide a platform for African businesses to engage with international partners, fostering investment and trade opportunities.
