Ghana celebrated its 69th Independence anniversary at the Lotte Hotel in Moscow, Russia. The occasion brought together dignitaries, diplomats, and Ghanaian citizens in Russia to commemorate the country’s Independence.
Speaking at the event H.E. Dr. Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah touted Ghana’s achievements since attaining political independence from the British colonial administration on the 6th of March, 1957.
In line with achieving His Excellency’s KPIs, Ambassador Jehu-Appiah urged would-be investors to consider Ghana as their preferred destination owing to the country’s adherence to rule of law and a serene business environment.
Ambassador Jehu-Appiah also informed diplomats and guests of President Mahama’s numerous flagship programmes such as the ‘Big Push Agenda’ which is aimed at accelerating Ghana’s economic growth and development.
The event also showcased the richness of Ghana’s dance and costumes on display including collection of Ghanaian art works by Ghanaian artists.
