Presentation of H.E. Dr. Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah’s Letters of Credence to  H.E. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation on 15th January, 2026.

His Excellency, Dr. Koma Steem Jehu- Appiah, Ghana’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary presented his letters of credence to the President of the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr.  Vladimir Putin on Thursday 15th January 2026   at 4.00 pm.

The ceremony which marked the official start of Ambassador Jehu-Appiah’s diplomatic assignment in Russia was held in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. A total number of Thirty-two Ambassadors presented their letters.

 During his interactions with the President of the Russian Federation after the ceremony, Ambassador Jehu-Appiah underscored the significant milestone in Ghana-Russia relations, with discussions focusing on enhancing cooperation in trade, energy, and technical support. His Excellency Dr. Jehu-Appiah also mentioned the need for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana to be invited to Russia to move Ghana-Russia friendly relations to a higher level.
