Consistent with meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Ambassador Dr. Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah since arrival in Moscow on Friday 3rd October, 2025 has been working diligently towards realizing his set targets.
2. In pursuit of these objectives, Ambassador Jehu-Appiah has engaged in discussions with key business leaders and some African Ambassadors in Russia and explored potential areas of collaboration with the aim of crystallization of ideas.

3. In line with the foregoing and also many other plausible considerations, the Head of Mission accepted an invitation to attend the Seventh Edition of IMBRICS Forum, which took place in St. Petersburg, Russia’s second-largest city, from 19th to 21st November 2025.
4.The IMBRICS Forum is an annual event that provides a platform for participants mostly from BRICS member states to exchange valuable ideas and foster cooperation. The meeting format facilitates congenial Business-to-Business (B2B) engagements, thereby promoting meaningful interactions among attendees.
5. Although Ghana is not a BRICS member state, Ambassador Jehu-Appiah took keen interest in the forum as the topics for discussion aligns with his KPIs.
6. The Head of Ghana’s Diplomatic Mission in Moscow had the opportunity to deliver statements on the opening and final days of the forum during which he spared no effort in articulating President Mahama’s vision of transforming Ghana’s economy to yield tangible outcomes.
7. The outcome of Ambassador Jehu-Appiah’s presentation generated considerable interest, as significant number of business leaders approached him to explore potential collaborations.
8. The Head of Mission has since the end of the forum held several meetings with key business leaders in Russia in the areas of mobile hospitals, shipping and water transport. It is expected that the discussions will yield tangible outcomes in the months ahead.
