GHANA AND KAZAKHSTAN STRENGTHEN ECONOMIC TIES

The Ghanaian Embassy in Moscow, with concurrent accreditation to the  Republic of Kazakhstan is pleased to announce that Ambassador Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah recently met with officials of the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan in Astana  on Thursday 5th March, 2026  to discuss possible areas of collaboration with the Ghana Chamber of Commerce.  Ambassador Jehu-Appiah was accompanied by  his spouse Dr. Mrs. Caroline Jehu-Appiah and Abiel Armah, PhD, the Head of Chancery.

The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

In line with efforts set in train to achieve  Ambassador’s Jehu-Appiah’s KPIs a Zoom meeting between the Ghana  Chamber of Commerce and  its  Kazakhstani  counterpart is expected to take place  at the earliest convenience . This meeting will enable the two chambers to share information on business opportunities, trade policies, and investment climates in their respective countries.

The collaboration is expected to boost trade and investment between Ghana and Kazakhstan, with a focus on energy, mining, and agriculture. The Ghana Embassy in Moscow,  is committed to promoting economic cooperation between the two countries and looks forward to a successful partnership in the years ahead.
