H.E. Dr. Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah, Ambassador of Ghana to Russia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dauren Abayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation in Moscow on Wednesday 18th February,2026 at 11.00am. Kazakhstan is concurrently accredited to the Ghana’s Diplomatic Mision in Moscow.
Ambassador Jehu-Appiah was accompanied by his spouse Dr. Mrs. Caroline Jehu-Appiah and Abiel Armah, PhD, Minister-Counsellor/Head of Chancery.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the two Ambassadors to exchange views on bilateral relations between Ghana and Kazakhstan, with a focus on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Ambassador Jehu- Appiah who is scheduled to present his letters of credence to the President of Kazakhstan on 4th March,2026 expressed his appreciation for the warm reception extended to him by Ambassador Abayev and his members of staff. Ambassador Dauren Abayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening ties with Ghana.
The two Ambassadors discussed potential areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.
The meeting was characterized by a cordial and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the excellent relations between Ghana and Kazakhstan and concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment of both countries to deepen their bilateral relations and explore new avenues for cooperation
